Babass (aka Sebastien Dervieux) was formerly a winemaker for Les Griottes along with Patrick Desplats since 2000. The two friends parted winemaking ways in 2011 and Babass now makes his own wines from his 2.4 hectares of of vines in Chanzeaux in the Maine-et-Loire. Babass started making sulfur-free wines with Pat in 2003 and continues this practice now.
